FAQ's

Have any questions?

How many driving lessons should we take before the test?

Your ability to pass the driving test depends on your skills and confidence. We recommend taking as many lessons as needed to ensure you’re a confident driver, fully understand the rules, and feel prepared. Based on our time together during lessons, we’ll guide you on the number of lessons we believe are necessary for you to succeed.

Is it better to start driving lessons with an instructor or with family and friends?

To develop strong skills from the start, we recommend beginning with a professional instructor. Once you’ve gained a solid understanding of how a car operates, the rules of the road, and some confidence, practising with family and friends can be beneficial.

I’ve recently got my learner’s permit. How long do we need to wait before taking the driving test?

You must be at least 18 years old to take your driving test. If you’re under 21, you are required to hold your Learner’s Permit for at least 12 months. If you’re 25 or older, you only need to hold your Learner’s Permit for 3 months. Holders of overseas licences are exempt from these waiting periods.

Can we book my driving test and pay later?

No, bookings are only confirmed once payment has been cleared prior to any driving sessions.

Do you pick me up from home to start the driving lesson?

We’re flexible with the starting location of your driving lessons. We can arrange to pick you up from home, work, school, university, or any other location that’s convenient for you.

Do you strictly follow the driving test rules?

Yes. As licensed professionals, we strictly follow all VicRoads guidelines. We highly recommend taking driving lessons with us before attempting your driving test to ensure you have the skills, competencies and experience needed. Practising with family and friends in a safe environment also helps build road experience.
